Jack Scott Biography
|
Hailing from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, he was known for his growling hit, “The Way I Walk”. He also released “My True Love”, backed by his vocal group, the Chantones. His heavy and gutsy ballads became a true contribution to the Rock and Roll genre. |
His debut single, “My True Love”/”Leroy” peaked at number three and number 11 respectively. “Goodbye Baby”, released in 1958, reached number eight on the charts. He released two more hits, “What in the World’s Come Over You” and “Burning Bridges” but failed to release any more huge hits after this.
Jack Scott continues to show up on the oldies circuit.
