Thanks for the link to an excellent interview. About ten years ago I heard Carl Bunch on Christian radio discussing the Winter Dance Party Tour.

Everyone knows the names Waylon Jennings and Tommy Allsup in connection with Buddy Holly, but for some reason, Carl Bunch isn't nearly as well known. For a drummer with his credentials: Roy Orbison, Hank Williams Jr., and of course, Buddy Holly, one would expect his to be a household name with more Holly fans. From all accounts, Carl's a real gentleman.

Scroll about half way down the page. Look on the left hand side of the page, you will see QUICK LINKS. Click on Ramagazine Archive. Go about a quarter way down the page that comes up. Holy cow, I found what I wanted to see. It's great to read something new about my good buddy Carl, a wonderful friend in this music world. He lives in the U.S.A., I live in Germany and we both like the unique music of Buddy Holly, it's absolutely fab !
Carl is a wonderful friend for me, we sent a lot of e-mails from Germany to America and from America to Germany.
