Helen,

you did not get a reply since you started the thread in July.

As it is not normal that there are new books out about Buddy Holly on tour I'd like to announce that the U.K. Tour of Buddy Holly and the Crickets will be published in September 2005 as a new book with 136 pages, lots of new photos included. Written by Jim Carr, president of the HOLLY International Fan Club from Doncaster in England.

I'm a member of that BUDDY HOLLY Club for a lot of years now and I can assure you that Jim Carr has the knowledge and the ability to present a great new book to the world.

As soon as I receive the first copy I'll publish an exclusive review as a world premiere on my website.

www.buddyholley.net.

I'm sure I can give you informations how to obtain the book with a lot of unknown photos from the 1958 tour in the U.K.

Cheers from the other side of the planet from

Buddy's German buddy

It'd be great if there was a way to obtain it in Canada when it's released. Big Grin

I'm qite sure.

This book will be available worldwide just as I am a member of the worldwide HOLLY INTERNATIONAL FAN CLUB.

I did not ask Jim Carr yet, but I think you can order it directly from Jim in England.

When I get the first copy I'll ask him how to obtain it. Our club fanzine is being posted worldwide, as we have members all around the globe.

A book has only a little bit more weight, postage is more expensive, but that's all.

P.S.: The Waylon Jennings song is "on the air" now on my website www.buddyholley.net. Have fun and listen !
