ust wondering if anyone knows exactly when Jerry recorded the two tunes for his single "Frankie Frankenstein" and "That'll Be Alright" ?
I know they were recorded at Norman Petty's Clovis studios but it's only a guess at late 1958, does anyone know exactly when for sure ? |

Per Bill Griggs, as documented in the Buddy Holly Day By Day booklets, JI recorded those songs on December 15, 1958. Fantastic books with almost everything you ever wanted to know about Buddy and the Crickets up to June, 1959.
