...and excited that this forum is here. Buddy is my number one pop/rock heroe followed by John Lennon, Chuck Berry and Richard Penniman. They created rock n roll. Period. Holly died at 22, perhaps one of the cruelest blows ever dealt to music.In Chicago, I was the frontman for a Holly cover band, and I was shocked by how full our calendar got. We were all able to quit our jobs and do it full time. My Holly "hiccup" is the best since the Man himself...The tantalizing "what might have been" thing is just intellectual torture.

Anyway, I am so glad that y'all are here and I look forward to beginning friendships with folks who love Buddy as much as I do.
