As a brand new user to this Board, you are immediately assigned the title of a Newbie.

Should you hang around and continue contributing to the discussion, and your number of posts grow, soon, at your 50th post, you will change status to the, Associate, which you are free to include on all your correspondences, business cards, resume and holiday greetings.

But the fun doesn't stop there... keep posting and your title will change a few more times as you become a integral part of this community:

• 100 "Regular"
• 300 "Member"


And maybe, if you hang around long enough and make one million posts, we'll think of a special prize. But for now, that's it.

There are other titles, but these must be earned by hard work and/or bribes. These include:

Helpers - Wonderful volunteers who hang around the Dboard frequently, sparking fascinating and reflective conversations, and helping everybody with questions and/or concerns.

Hosts - And more wonderful volunteers who help us moderate the discussion board as to help keep things clean and orderly so newbies can easily find there way, and the atmosphere conducive to good discussions so regular members can enjoy the board fully.

Historian - The knowledgeable. Try to stump 'em.

Administrators - These people ensure the essence of the board is preserved and the purpose of this board is fulfilled as seen by the Estate of Buddy Holly and the fans alike.
