One of Rock and Roll's most innovative guitar masters died last month and I was very sad to see him go . Earlier this summer my car broke down in Eugene,Oregon and I was stuck there for several days and in my frusteration I strolled on down to one of the city's local bars where I was amazed to see on the wall a flyer for upcoming shows and was astonished to see that Link Wray was going to be there in three days I love 'Rumble' and had wished to see Link for years I was planning to stay just long enough to see the show but I was running out of cash and was forced to return home one day before the show and I did not appreciate it ... it turned out to be one of Wray's last shows and one of my biggest regrets in life is not staying the extra day to see the legend at work and now I never will ...but, I at least can give him tribute here on the greatest site on the web so here's to you Link Wray.Any other fans of Link want to say a word about the man?

It was soooooooo "good" to see how many fans of Link Wray there are on this board . It goes to show that people can change the world and nobody notices I wonder how many people do that on a daily basis? any way I for one will keep the Memory of this guitar legend alive at least Pete Townshend is with me
