Otis Rush
Born in Philadelphia, Mississippi in 1934, Otis Rush made a name for himself playing in clubs on the South and West sides of the blues scenes. He had hits with "All Your Love I Miss Lovin’" and Willie Dixon’s "I Can’t Quit You Baby" in 1957. His sound, long bent notes achieved by pushing the strings across the neck to increase their tension and raise the pitch, because known as West Side Chicago blues.
He has released various blues albums including, "Mourning in the Morning" (1969), "Right Place, Wrong Time" (1971), "Cold Day In Hell" (1979), Lost in the Blues (1991), "Ain’t Enough Comin’ In" (1994). The latter album, a set of nothing but covers, achieved critical acclaim!
