Bobby Freeman
Born in San Francisco in 1940, Bobby Freeman began performing with the Romancers at age 14. He became known for his dancing and stage presence right from the start! He went on to form a group called the Vocaleers and wrote a song called "Do You Want To Dance" which became a smash hit reaching number five!
Becoming very popular in the San Francisco area, Bobby Freemen went on to release various songs such as, "Shame On You Miss Johnson", "Need Your Love" and "(I Do The) Shimmy Shimmy".
His last major hit, "C’mon And Swim", reached number five on the charts.
