I keep The Complete Buddy Holly cassettes in my car, and one of them is always playing when the car is in motion. I have The Buddy Holly Collection downloaded on my PC at work and at home. When MCA re-released the second album in 1988, the record company sent me a copy to play on the air. I framed the album cover, which is displayed in my office, and I sorta can't find the album itself. :-" If anyone's seen it, please let me know. LOL.

I listened to The Chirping Crickets a lot after I bought it - ditto with 11 Fifth Avenue and Complete Buddy Holly. But the one I keep coming back to is 20 Golden Greats, which is what I cut my Buddy teeth on as a 12 year old in 1979. I dubbed a copy of that album for myself, and play it often in my car.

I don't have a CD player in my car. Otherwise I'd play the Chirping Crickets and 11 Fifth Avenue more often. I have played my Complete BH tapes in the car, but I'm a little nervous about something happening to them - I should make 'playing' copies of those soon to preserve the originals.

Hi,Bear what does 11 fifth Avenue have on it? I listen to Buddy sometimes though not as often as I'd like. Why not transfer your cd's onto tape? Then you could play them in your car. Another way you could listen to your cd's in the car if you have a personal cd player is to buy a converter which looks like a cassette with a wire attached to it, you just plug the end of the wire into the players headphone socket and put the cassette into the cars cassette player press play on the cd player and you're away. As the song says ''EVERYDAY'' Since I retired there is not a day passes that I dont spend hours listening to Buddy, if i'm in the car its cd's and at home its vinyl, I have a big collection of both.

I try to listen to Buddy once a week for a couple of hours or so. My taste in music changes with my moods, so I wouldn't listen to Buddy when I'm in a bad mood, it would have to be either Punk or Industrial Rock. The same goes for a sad mood, it would have to be The Smiths or similar groups

11 Fifth Avenue has all versions of the Apartment songs - Buddy alone, the New York dubs, and the Clovis dubs. Also, there are some conversational snippets taken from the apartment tapes, as well as a radio bulletin about the plane crash. There might also be a radio interview with Buddy - I can't remember for sure, and I'm not near my CDs at the moment.

Every day is a Holly day.

It's not so important for me if it's Buddy himself or tributes, but I need my Buddy Holly songs day by day.

And, be assured, it's not boring. In my car I often play CD's from Sonny West, Runaway Express, Texas Mike Bell and Tommy Allsup and compilations I burned for myself.

And at home, working on my website, I listen to my whole collection and other Rockabilly artists. I have a huge .mp3 collection, too huge to publish everything on my website, I've only listed all the other items, Vinyl, CD, Tape,VHS,DVD,Books,I think, it's enough, if you had a look, you'll agree.
