Hi, can anyone help, does anyone know if buddy when he flew into britain for the uk tour, used the B.O.A.C. plane, and which airport did he fly into. thanks b.e.h.man

According to the Real Buddy Holly Story, BUddy either flew into the London Airport or Heathrow. I think it's the London Airport that he arrived in and Vi Petty is just confusing the two, as you can clearly see London on the sign in the background on Norm Petty's video footage. Would someone please back me up....I'm too lazy to doublecheck.

Maybe it doesn´t matter anymore, but London Airport I S Heathrow.
Nowadayds The Greater London Area is served by LONDON HEATHROW (LHR), LONDON GATWICK (LGW), STANSTED (STN), LUTON (LTN) and, to a lesser extent, SOUTHEND (SEN) airports, but in the late 50´s only one airport was dedicated to scheduled, international air traffic for passengers and that was LONDON HEATHROW.
