I'm amazed at how many members are into heavy metal and punk. Yeah, you guys are all weird. But I'll stack our bunch of weirdos against other fansites' weirdos anytime!

I know I've mentioned these on other posts, but my preferences have been changing. My favs are:
Buddy Holly (of course) The Beatles (of course) My Chemical Romance (recently fell in love) Damien Rice (wow!!) Bjork (she rocks the house) pretty eclectic here! |

I don't find it that weird, but then it's also what I'm into. The way I see it, early rock 'n' roll and punk are basically the same thing. Sure the message may have changed, but the energy and the raw sound are common to both. The Sex Pistols started out by covering songs such as "Johnny B Goode". It's all good, honest, three-chord rock! And I'd even go so far as to suggest that even good hip hop and rap have some of that raw, rock 'n' roll spirit, too.
