Me, too. My mom was Class of '57, and she had this box of 45s that we kids used to listen to all the time. (I was born in 1967). I got turned on to Buddy around the time of the movie with Gary Busey. The passion kind of burned low during high school (1980s) and college, then I got married, had a family, etc. I really got back into it in the last year and a half. Ebay (and this site) have helped - I got a copy of the book Rave On, which I think is a great Buddy bio. I also got copies of The Chirping Crickets and the Apartment Tapes on CD. The apartment tapes are packaged on a release titled "11 Fifth Avenue", and it includes not only the raw songs, but also all overdub versions.
