Gary Miller Biography
| Although Gary Miller’s initial career plan was to become a teacher, he discovered his singing abilities while attending a London College and gave up his studies to pursue music. |
During this March tour in the UK, Gary and Buddy Holly and the Crickets were billed to appear on a British TV show, “Sunday Night at the London Palladium”, with Gary opening the show. Due to a previous engagement, Buddy Holly and The Crickets were forced to open the show and Gary was moved on to close the show. Despite playing in front of a revved up “Post-Buddy” audience, Gary received a great response.
Known to release mainly cover songs, he managed to put his own spin on every song he re-created. Sadly, Gary Miller died of a heart attack in 1968.
